The Tolerance Project was displayed in the Commons. Student work was projected on the middle screen, while posted comments were projected on the side screens. The table in the middle had netbooks so that students and staff could participate in the blogging exercise.

FHS CARES Link

On April 12, as part of Farmingdale High School's Diversity Week, students in PAGE, Humanities 9 & 10, Special Education, and Reading presented "The Tolerance Project," a multi-media digital program that addressed various aspects of tolerance and acceptance.

The student work was displayed in the Commons, and students and staff had the opportunity to blog their reactions to the work.  This was a new step in educating students and trying to create change and dialogue.

The FHS Cares link on the right will bring you to the blog site so that you can read student and staff reactions.
